Jakarta – The Class I Jakarta Railway Engineering Center has successfully achieved a brilliant achievement in the Appreciation of Archives Management and Launching of the National Movement for Awareness of Orderly Archives held by the Directorate General of Railways.

This award was given on Wednesday (11/20/2024), which was held at the Directorate General of Railways, this award was carried out in order to follow up on the results of internal archival supervision at the Archives Unit III/Centers within the Directorate General of Railways.

Good archive management is not only important for maintaining the completeness and availability of data, but also has a strategic role in supporting decision-making, increasing accountability, and maintaining transparency in governance. In addition, archives are also valuable historical evidence for an organization.

The Head of the Class 1 Jakarta Railway Engineering Center responded when BTP Jakarta received the 1st place award in the Appreciation of Archives Management and Design of the National Movement for Awareness of Orderly Archives.

"Archives are one very important thing in the obedience of our country's efforts, all friends must always remember that organizing archives is for our interests now, the future and the interests of the nation and the Republic of Indonesia, Save the past, save the future" said Ferdian Suryo (Head of BTP Jakarta Class 1), at the Directorate General of Railways (20/11).

With this award, it is hoped that the Jakarta Railway Engineering Center can continue to improve the quality of its archive management. In addition, it is also hoped that all work units within the Directorate General of Railways can follow in the footsteps of the success of the Jakarta Railway Engineering Center in implementing a good archive management system.
