The preparation of this Performance Accountability Report is a form of responsibility for performance achievements during 2022, which is based on the commitments set out in the DIPA 2022 of the South Sulawesi Railway Management Center as a form of mandate and responsibility to achieve the performance stated in the formulation of the goals and objectives of the 2020-2024 Strategic Plan, which is guided by the Regulation of the Minister of Administrative Reform and Bureaucratic Reform Number 53 of 2014 concerning Technical Guidelines for Preparing Performance Agreements, Performance Reporting, and Procedures for Reviewing Government Agency Performance Accountability Reports.

In 2022 the South Sulawesi Railway Management Center has carried out several activities, namely:

1. Construction of the Trans Sulawesi Railway Line between Makassar-Parepare Segment 3 (Makassar-Barru) has been carried out with work progress reaching 100%.
2. Signaling and telecommunication construction has been carried out between Makassar-Parepare between Makassar-Barru and the work progress has reached 100%.
3. The inauguration of the railway line and limited trial operation from Garongkong Station to Mangilu Station have been carried out by the Secretary of the Directorate General of Railways.
4. The inauguration of the railway line from Maros Station to Rammang-rammang Station has been carried out by the Minister of Transportation of the Republic of Indonesia as a limited trial operation.

In addition, the South Sulawesi Railway Management Center also carries out other management support and technical support activities, including administrative activities in the fields of planning, finance, law, personnel, and general, in support of the implementation of the duties and functions of the Directorate General of Railways as a regulator of railway implementation.
