Surabaya (07/01), January 4 was the last day of the implementation of the Railway Control Supervision Post during the Covid-19 pandemic which was closed directly by the Minister of Transportation via Zoom Meeting Cloud. The Railway Transportation Control Command Post was carried out from 17 December 2021 to 4 January 2022 in the East Java BTP area including Daop 7 Madiun, Daop 8 Surabaya, and Daop 9 Jember which was carried out by all employees at BTP East Java.

Every Christmas and New Year period, of course, there will be an increase in the number of train passengers from usual days, so the Rail Transportation Control Control Post needs to be carried out to monitor the condition of train travel during Christmas 2021 and New Year 2022 as well as monitor the condition of passengers using rail transportation. to continue to wear masks and comply with the health protocols that have been implemented by the station.
And until the end of this Command Post, it can be reported that the conditions of train and passenger travel are monitored to be safe, smooth, and under control.

This Command Post activity is the second activity in 2021 after previously BTP East Java also carried out the Command Post during the Eid transportation period 1442 H. The implementation of this Nataru Command Post activity has been determined by the Head of the East Java Regional Railway Engineering Center through the Head of the District Head's Decree Number SK-BTP- JT 65 of 2021 concerning the Establishment of the Command Post for Supervision of Transportation Control During Christmas Transport in 2021 and the New Year of 2022 during the Covid-19 Pandemic. Based on this decision, the implementation of the Command Post at BTP East Java is divided into several posts assigned to all employees within the BTP East Java, including Data and Report Processing Command Post, Train Travel Monitoring Command Post in Daop 7 Madiun, 8 Surabaya and 9 Jember, and Monitoring Team for the Implementation of Christmas and New Year Command Post in Daop 7 Madiun, 8 Surabaya and 9 Jember.
The Rail Transportation Control Command Post will be held again during the Eid period in 2022.

The Minister of Transportation has appealed to people who are required to go out, especially using public transportation, to maintain their health by wearing masks and complying with health protocols not only on important days but always at any time that requires us to go out and meet many other people.

So it is hoped that awareness is needed from us to continue to fight the spread of the covid-19 virus by remaining disciplined in carrying out health protocols so that we are always together with our loved ones.
