In government administration, continuous efforts are necessary to bring about change or improvement, aiming to create a clean government (Good Governance). Each government agency needs to be developed to enhance public service, efficiency, effectiveness, and performance, thereby building public trust in the execution of its fundamental duties and authority. This is also intended to strengthen the accountability of government agencies as a form of responsibility in achieving the vision, mission, objectives, targets, and policies set by a working unit.

The Directorate of Railway Facilities is a working unit within the Directorate General of Railways, as outlined in the Regulation of the Minister of Transportation No. 67 of 2021 concerning the Organization and Work Procedure of the Ministry of Transportation. In the second quarter of 2024, the Directorate has formulated and implemented programs that cover the development and supervision of facilities, management of state-owned assets, and ensuring the operability of facilities in line with its vision, mission, and objectives.

Based on this work program and the execution, this report, the Directorate of Railway Facilities' Monitoring Report on Performance Achievements for the Second Quarter, has been prepared to provide accountability for performance throughout 2024.

With the completion of this report, it is hoped to provide a clear picture and evaluation, as well as motivate improvements in organizational performance in managing resources, including human resources, funding, and the timing of activities, results, benefits, and impacts. This report is still far from perfect, so constructive feedback, criticism, and suggestions are highly appreciated for future improvement.
