In government administration, it is essential to engage in ongoing efforts that can bring about change and improvement. The primary goal is to create a clean government (Good Governance). Every government agency needs to be developed to enhance public service, efficiency, effectiveness, and performance, thereby building public trust in the execution of its duties and authority. This is also vital for strengthening the accountability of government agencies as a form of responsibility in achieving the established vision, mission, objectives, targets, and policies.

The Directorate of Railway Facilities is a working unit within the Directorate General of Railways, according to Regulation of the Minister of Transportation No. 67 of 2021 concerning the Organization and Work Procedure of the Ministry of Transportation. In the first quarter of 2024, the Directorate of Railway Facilities has formulated and implemented programs that include developing and supervising facilities, managing state-owned assets, and ensuring the operability of facilities in line with its vision, mission, and objectives.

Based on this work program, this report, the Directorate of Railway Facilities Monitoring Report on Performance Achievements for the First Quarter of 2024, has been prepared to provide accountability for performance throughout the year.

The completion of this report is expected to provide a clear picture and evaluation, as well as motivate improvements in organizational performance in resource management, including human resources, funding, and the timing of activities, results, benefits, and impacts. This report is far from perfect, so any constructive feedback, criticism, or suggestions for future improvements are greatly appreciated.
