INSPECTION OF THE FEASIBILITY AND OPERATION (RAMPCHECK) OF RAILWAYS FACILITIES IN THE FRAMEWORK OF CHRISTMAS TRANSPORTATION IN 2021 AND NEW YEAR 2022

The Directorate of Railways Rolling Stock has carried out a feasibility and operational readiness (Rampcheck) inspection of railway facilities in the context of Christmas 2021 and New Year 2022.

 

The rampcheck has been running from November 15 to December 5, 2021 and has been carried out in 7 (seven) Operational Areas (DAOP) and 4 (four) Regional Divisions (Divre) of PT Kereta Api Indonesia, namely DAOP 1 Jakarta, DAOP 2 Bandung. , DAOP 3 Cirebon, DAOP 4 Semarang, DAOP 5 Purwokerto, DAOP 6 Yogyakarta, DAOP 8 Surabaya, Regional Division I North Sumatra, Regional Division II West Sumatra, Regional Division III Kertapati, and Regional Division IV Tanjung Karang. A total of 1523 railway facilities have been inspected for Christmas 2021 and New Year 2022 transportation.

Rampcheck of railway facilities is an examination of the feasibility and readiness of railway facilities before the facilities are operated. Currently, ramp checks of railway facilities are routinely carried out at the time of the Eid transportation period, Christmas, New Year, and other long holiday periods.

On this occasion, the purpose of the ramp check implementation is to check the condition of the readiness and feasibility of the railway facilities in the context of preparation for the 2021 Christmas and New Year 2022 transportation. The method used in implementing this ramp check is by collecting maintenance and inspection data to determine the extent to which maintenance and maintenance activities are carried out. inspection is carried out by the operator of the railway facilities. In addition, by inspection or direct inspection of railway facilities for the maintenance of facilities and several inspection items based on the technical specification standards of each railway facility and their safety standards.
