Semarang (18/12) -  Toward the Christmas 2021 and New Year's 2022 transportation period, the Railways Engineering Office  Class I for the Central Java Region held the establishment of a command post of transportation control during the Corona Virus Disease 2019 (COVID-19) pandemic in the Railway Sector. The assignment of the Command Post is carried out by Central Java Regional Office staff starting on December 17, 2021 until January 4, 2022.

The implementation of this command post is based on the Decree of the Director-General of Railways at the Ministry of Transportation. It is divided into several assignment groups, namely Data Processing and Reporting, Station Monitoring and Reporting, Monitoring and Flying Gang in Vulnerable Areas. The Command Post officers have several important roles including, Data Processing and Reporting Officers carrying out tasks at the Class I Railways Engineering Office for the Central Java Region, Station Monitoring and Reporting Officers carrying out supervision at Tawang Station and Poncol Station, Purwosari Station, and Solo Balapan Station, Central Java Station. Lempuyangan and Yogyakarta Station. Monitoring and Flying Gang Officers in Vulnerable Areas carry out surveillance in vulnerable areas in DAOP 4 Semarang, DAOP 5 Purwokerto, and DAOP 6 Yogyakarta areas.

The Head of the Class I Railways Engineering Office for the Central Java Region, appealed, "So that all employees on duty at the Command Post during the Christmas 2021 and New Year 2022 transportation period can carry out their duties as well as possible and continue to prioritize the applicable health protocols," he concluded. .
