Padang-The Railway Technology Center (BTP) Padang Class II managed to achieve the third rank in the implementation of the Government Agency Performance Accountability System (SAKIP) within the Directorate General of Railways (DJKA). The first rank was achieved by the Directorate of Railway Infrastructure and the second rank was achieved by the Directorate General of Railway Traffic and Transportation.

"Alhamdulillah, this year we received the third rank in the evaluation of the implementation of the performance accountability system of government agencies within DJKA, hopefully, next year BTP Padang can further improve the performance and achieve the first rank," said the Head of BTP Padang Endang Setiawan when receiving the award in Jakarta a few moments ago.

As a reminder, SAKIP is a systematic set of various activities, tools, and procedures that are used to identify and measure, collect data, classify, summarize, and report performance in government organizations. This is done in the context of accountability and performance improvement of the agency itself, based on PM No. 85/2020 concerning the Implementation of the Government Agency Performance Accountability System.

In other words, SAKIP is an integrated system starting from planning, budgeting, measuring, and reporting performance. It is in line with the implementation of a financial accountability system. Therefore, it is the obligation of every organization or government agency to be able to record and report the use of state finances and compliance with applicable regulations. (RAH)
