Notice something stolen? Report it to Railway Engineering Center Padang

Padang - In order to provide the best service to the public, Class II Railway Engineering Centre (BTP) Padang has launched a complaint service through its Instagram media @btppadang and a hotline at 081374239299.

Endang Setiawan, Head of Class II Railway Engineering Centre Padang, stated that social media is a very fast platform for disseminating information. Therefore, the public can quickly provide any information to BTP Padang.

"Especially since almost everyone has social media, from all backgrounds and ages. Therefore, we need to take advantage of the existing social media platforms," said Kabalai in his statement.

In addition, BTP Padang's Public Relations (Humas) has been very active in providing railway-related information in West Sumatra through its Instagram platform. Through this platform, the public relations team can directly interact with social media users, enabling two-way communication with the public.

Endang Setiawan added that when reports are made via social media or by calling the provided hotline, the information is immediately forwarded to management, allowing for quick and responsive action to be taken.

"Unfortunately, theft of state assets is still a common problem in West Sumatra. We really need the public's involvement in protecting these assets, not only on inactive railway lines but also on active railway lines. Therefore, BTP Padang highly appreciates and needs the community's contribution to protect these assets," he said.

"If we don't work together to protect these assets, who else will?" he concluded.
