On 27 July 2024, South Sumatra LRT will host LRT Fest 2024 to celebrate its 6th anniversary. The big event will be held at Jakabaring Sport City Palembang. The segmentation of activities will target students or the millennial generation. 

Head of South Sumatra Light Railway Management Center (BPKARSS) as the manager of South Sumatra LRT Rode Paulus said, the LRT Fest activity was the third time held in the city of Palembang. Previously held in 2022 and 2023 with various exciting activities and spectacular guest stars.

In 2022, the event involved 30 participants in the student music festival, 25 tenants in Fludfair, social service activities, and guest star Pusakata's performance in the LRTology event witnessed by 3500 spectators.

While in 2023, the culminating event featured guest stars D'masiv and Type X, with an additional performance by local band Kopral Jono as the opening act. A total of 5900 people attended the event. As is tradition, LRT Fest always ends with a musical performance to entertain the crowd.

In 2024, LRT Fest presented "LRTology", a collaboration between Tulus with his hit songs such as "manusia kuat" and Hindia, a band popular among young people with the song "Rumah ke Rumah". 

Not only that, LRT Fest also presented local musicians from Palembang. Such as Tropical Forest, Kopral Jono and Candei Interndude, who have filled many music stages in the city.  The spectacular guest stars will make the audience synergize and sing along. The LRTology event is not only filled with music groups but also presents the famous energetic DJ Sinta, who is sure to make the audience sway. 

LRT fans and music lovers are invited to join the celebration of the 6th anniversary of the South Sumatra LRT. "Of course, you have to enjoy the event and the concert with selected guest stars. We hope this event can be a great success," said Rode.
