BPKARSS Held Consignment on Preparation and Implementation of RPA Based on SBM in 2024

The South Sumatra Light Railway Management Center (BPKARSS), as the manager of South Sumatra Light Rail Transit (LRT), held a consignment on the preparation and implementation of Program and Budget Plan (RPA) based on Standard Cost Input (SBM) in 2024. This event is a strategic step to ensure the efficiency and accuracy of budget utilization and to improve the quality of public transportation services for the people of South Sumatra.

The shipment was opened by the Head of Finance and General Subdivision of BPKARSS, Haris Farizi, followed by a speech from the Head of the State Treasury Service Office (KPPN), Palembang Edi Prayitno. They hope that the activity will bring more benefits to the budget, user authority, and employees within the framework of the organization for the progress of the agency.

Located at the Ibis Palembang Sanggar Hotel, Monday, 19 February 2024, Edi explained about the management of the Public Service Agency (BLU). There are several things that need to be considered. Among other things, careful budget planning is important. Second, supervision and control. Third, the use of technology and innovation. Fourth, training and development of human resources related to management. And finally, the importance of collaboration or partnership to generate other revenues.

"By following these steps and implementing good budget management practices, public service agencies can ensure that their funds are used effectively to provide quality services to the community," he said.

Meanwhile, Haris Farizi emphasized the agency's commitment to providing the best service to LRT users. "We are aware of the importance of efficient and accurate budget management to improve the quality of public transport services. Through this mission, we hope to formulate appropriate strategic steps to achieve this goal," he said.

On the other hand, one of the main focuses of this consignment is the implementation of the Standard Cost Input (SCI) in 2024. The SBM is an important foundation for determining accurate cost estimates for various activities related to LRT operations and development. By applying the SBM, it is expected that the use of the budget can be more measured and efficient, avoiding the possibility of waste or lack of funds.

In addition, this program is also a momentum to strengthen the synergy between South Sumatra LRT and other stakeholders. Through close cooperation, it is expected that the various initiatives and programs formulated in this consignment can be implemented more effectively and support the creation of a quality public transportation system in South Sumatra.

The assignment to prepare and implement program plans and budgets is part of South Sumatra LRT's ongoing commitment to provide superior service to the community. By involving various stakeholders and applying transparent and efficient management principles, it is hoped that South Sumatra LRT can continue to be the backbone of reliable and sustainable public transportation for the province of South Sumatra.
