The preparation of a Performance Agreement is one of the obligations of every Government agency including the Ministry / Institution level in the context of implementing the Government Agency Performance Accountability System (SAKIP) which contains the determination of performance targets to be achieved in one year based on relevant performance indicators in order to achieve the goals and objectives in the Strategic Plan.

The Performance Agreement is then set as a benchmark for achieving the goals and performance indicators of each program and activity planned in 2024 as well as several aspects of resources, including financing/budgeting, human resources, and the timing of the implementation of activities.

The preparation of the Performance Agreement refers to the Minister of Transportation Regulation number PM 85/2020 concerning the Implementation of the Government Agency Performance Accountability System. Based on the Regulation of the Minister of Transportation, the Performance Agreement can be revised or adjusted in the event of the following conditions:

1. Change mutation of officials, 

2. Changes in strategies that affect the achievement of goals and objectives, 

3. Changes in priorities or assumptions that have a significant impact on the process of achieving goals and objectives.
