Always on time, passengers expect LRT schedule to remain unchanged

As a transformative mode of transportation that is increasingly being used in South Sumatra, particularly in Palembang, Light Rail Transit (LRT) has become the first choice for many residents of South Sumatra in general and Palembang in particular to overcome traffic congestion and reach destinations more efficiently.

The experiences of LRT passengers often reflect satisfaction and expectations for future service improvements. One LRT passenger, Haziq, shared his positive experience using the service for his daily commute.

"I always feel comfortable and safe when I ride the LRT. The clean and comfortable facilities and consistent speed make my journey more enjoyable and efficient," he said enthusiastically. He also highlighted the speed and punctuality of the LRT in getting him to his destination. "It's never late; it's always on time. This is very helpful for those of us with busy schedules," said Hafiq.

Passengers also appreciated the efforts to improve the user experience with clear information about schedules, stations passed, and facilities available on the train. "With complete and easily accessible information, I feel more confident and comfortable using this LRT as a daily transportation option," he said.

Although it has provided a satisfying experience for most passengers, there are some improvement expectations that passengers also conveyed to improve the quality of LRT services in the future. One of them is to maintain the frequency and reliability of the schedule.

"I hope the LRT can maintain the frequency of train arrivals and the reliability of the schedule, especially during peak hours. This will help reduce waiting time and minimize delays," he said.

The positive experience will certainly encourage the development of the South Sumatra LRT in the future. That way, LRT will become one of the most important transportation solutions that will make a positive contribution to mobility and green public transformation.
