Socialisation on Good Governance for ASN to Improve Public Services

Padang - Good governance is one of the key factors in creating accountability, transparency and efficiency within government institutions. This, in turn, will lead to more optimal public service processes and minimise the potential for abuse of authority.

Through this socialisation, it is hoped that all civil servants (Aparatur Sipil Negara or ASN) within the Directorate General of Railways, particularly at the Class II Railway Technical Office in Padang, will better understand and implement administrative procedures in accordance with established regulations.

"This activity aims to educate all government employees on the importance of orderly and structured administration so that a culture of good administration can be cultivated in the government environment where we work," said BTP Padang Head Hendrialdi in his statement.

The event also guided the Minister of Transportation's Regulation No. KM 41 of 2021 on the Management of Official Documents in the Ministry of Transportation. The aim is to achieve uniformity and integration in the management of correspondence; to establish a general administrative order that is useful and effective; to ensure smooth internal and external communication within the Ministry of Transport; to guarantee the security, integrity, and confidentiality of state or official documents; and to facilitate supervision in the management of written information.

In addition, guidance was provided on Ministry of Finance Regulation (PMK) No. 49/2023 on input cost standards for the 2024 budget year, as well as Regulation No. KM 84 of 2024 on job allocation within the DJKA. These were shared with all ASNs at BTP Padang to deepen their understanding of administrative compliance.

“Through this event, which includes training and active participation from all ASNs, we hope that Civil Officer will be better equipped to support the improvement of public services moving forward,” concluded the Head of BTP Padang.
